SYLVER Naval Vertical Launch System
Up to six distributed Launcher Modules (LM) can be linked to the
Command and Control. A vertical launcher provides an omnidirectional
capability with the shortest reaction time. Each launcher contains
eight missiles, whose canisters are used as transport and launch
containers.
Vertical launch allows the missile to be steered, as soon as it
leaves its transport/launch canister, towards the target thanks
to booster stage's two steering nozzles. This feature substantially
reduces interception time and allows very short-range or long-range
interceptions.
